The mission of the Friends Of Colchester Music is to promote and support all student musicians; vocal, instrumental and general classroom music, in the Colchester School District. Specifically, to: -Promote increased appreciation and awareness of student musicianship at all grade levels and in all school buildings. - Promote opportunities for synergy with other musical endeavors in the community.

Spring 50/50 Raffle

FCM will hold its Spring 50/50 raffle May 29th at the CHS Spring Band and Chorus Concert. Tickets will be sold before the concert and the winner will be announced after. Other prizes include: gift cards from Colchester businesses. Tickets are 1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. All proceeds benefit the scholarship and instrument funds.

The Echo (the student reflection of St. Michael's College) reports on local organization supporting young musicians in need.

The Friends of Colchester Music is a new organization which brings together parents of young musicians and other interested community members. The purpose of "Friends" is to act as a booster organization to the Colchester School District, providing opportunities for all students to have quality musical experiences throughout their public school years.
